Tyndrum Lodges – Case Study

The owner’s of Tyndrum Lodges approached Tweetiepie Media to help them set up their online presence with an integrated booking system.

Tyndrum Lodges offers smart, quality accommodation at affordable prices. Situated on the A82, they identified a gap in the market and seeked to provide a pit-stop on the way to key West of Scotland destinations.

Tyndrum Lodges contacted Tweetiepie Media looking for a simple but slick website that represents their business and property. We worked with the client from the start of their journey, creating the brand logo from the initial concept, developing their website, incorporating an online booking system and setting up their social media presence.

Pre-Covid, Tyndrum Lodges welcomed around 1000-1500 visitors to their website in the busiest months  – healthy for the size of property.

How was this achieved?

Key objectives for this project were:

  • To ensure the website was mobile friendly to allow travellers on-the-go to book last minute
  • To create a navigation structure that was simple, clean and easy to use
  • Include calls-to-action in appropriate places to allow customers to book direct – subsequently helping the client reduce on commission fees owed to 3rd party booking engines
  • Create an attractive and effective overall web presence that was optimised

Here at Tweetiepie Media, we have partnerships with 3rd party booking agencies that allow for seamless integration. The booking systems we offer our clients are easy to manage for the management team, easy for the customer, and cloud based.
