Launch and marketing of a new indian dining concept in Scotland.

Chaakoo Bombay Cafe was born in the city centre of Glasgow in 2016, offering customers delicious tapas style indian dishes to enjoy with friends and family in a cafe style setting. Introducing a new concept has its challenges, therefore with the launch, website and marketing aspects


In conjunction with the brand designer, we built and developed a functional website that incorporated an online reservations system and gift vouchers functionality. With the concept being relatively new to the market, we wanted to convey the atmosphere within the cafe/restaurants itself through the design of the website as well as the wording used. 

Social Media & Online Presence

TPM works with each unit to ensure interesting and exciting content is created to keep current customers engaged and interested, whilst attracting new customers also. Aiming to increase reach and virality is key for Chaakoo’s social media presence. Being part of a group of restaurants, enables us to utilise cross marketing over a number of platforms to further attract new customers and increase reach. 


We have worked with other parties to ensure that data capture for Chaakoo is GDPR friendly with multiple data capture points in place to ensure the database continually grows and is cleansed regularly. 

We use mailchimp to keep customers up to date regularly to encourage forward bookings, gift voucher sales, important information and offers, as well as dine at home opportunities.
