Christmas Marketing Campaigns

Tis’ the season to be jolly, and for memorable Christmas ads! Here’s a round up of this year’s Christmas marketing campaigns…

When it comes to marketing, Christmas is an absolute goldmine. People are openly spending more money than any other time of the year and businesses are getting in to the Christmas spirit with their annual festive campaigns. Here are a few of our favourites from this year…

Coca Cola – Holidays are Coming

best Christmas campaigns

Okay, technically this campaign is out every year, but it’s so iconic that it has become a landmark of when it’s socially acceptable to start getting excited about Christmas. The Coca Cola truck even does a tour of the UK! They certainly got it right with this one!

John Lewis – Monty the Penguin

Why do you do this to us John Lewis? First the snowman, then hare & bear and now this?! John Lewis are now known for their touching and tear-jerking festive adverts, and Monty the Penguin is no exception. Watch as Monty searches for true love and do your best not to burst into tears.

Sainsbury’s – Christmas Day 1914 WWI

Touching on the 100th anniversary of WWI, Sainsbury’s retells the famous tale of Christmas Day, where young soldiers from both sides came together to play a game of football. Made in partnership with the Royal British Legion, this is a Christmas campaign with heart and purpose.

Boots – #SpecialBecause

Boots could have easily went for a glamour-filled cosmetic fest, with all the Christmas sparkle you could ask for. However, their #SpecialBecause campaign is an ode to the simple pleasure of having your family around you at Christmas. Again, it’s a tear jerker!

What are your favourite Christmas campaigns?
